It’s my pleasure to welcome you to Getty House. This historic home, located in the Windsor Square section of Los Angeles, was built in 1921, and has been occupied by several private families and notable public figures. For the past 35 years, Getty House has been the official residence of the Mayor of Los Angeles. During that time, the house has welcomed dignitaries, world leaders and people from all walks of life.
In addition to maintaining Getty House, Getty House Foundation (GHF) partners with the Los Angeles community and its schools to enhance our children’s education through grants, learning opportunities and tours. Our Board of Directors is committed to education, and it supports the efforts that lead to better communities within the greater Los Angeles area.
It is our wish that this Website serves as a useful tool. We hope that you’ll find the articles helpful and informative, and that you’ll revisit it from time to time. We’re excited about the future of Los Angeles, and about the role Getty House will play in the months and years ahead.
Thank you for your continued support.
