Seven-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong joined Mayor Antonio R. Villaraigosa on Wednesday, May 18, to launch Getty House Foundation’s speakers’ series called Salon LA speakers series. Wells Fargo serves as Salon LA’s lead
sponsor, and The David BohnettFoundation, Frank Marshall andKathleen Kennedy, and SONY PicturesEntertainment serve as other key sponsors. The series, which supports the Foundation overseeing the Official Residence of the Mayor and education initiative for school children, took place and will continue to take place at the Mayor’s house.

Lance and Mayor Villaraigosa discussed Lance’s world-class cycling career as well
as The Lance Armstrong Foundation’scancer research and support, TheCalifornia Cancer Research Act, and the LIVESTRONG Sporting Park in Kansas City.
